Move Towards Love

Sunday 26th, 4 pm – 7 pm

When we align our lifestyle with the tides of nature, we assist the body, mind and spirit to harmonise and balance. Starting the New Year on the right foot is less about big, lofty goals, and more about achievable, everyday changes. One of the absolute best ways to obtain this is to become established in a loving, relaxed personal practice.

Ayurvedic doula, counsellor and facilitator, Christina Covington, from Embodied Ayurveda, calls this ‘Blissapine’ (the daily act of divine bliss), a practice that incorporates: Gratitude, Abhyanga, Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation. This maintains the vehicle of the body in flow with vital pranic energy (life force energy) in harmony with the natural rhythms and elements. The practice only takes fifteen minutes to perform at home and has so many outstanding benefits.

In this intimate 3 hour immersion, we will explore daily self-care rituals and routines called dinacharya to enhance overall health and wellbeing, demystifying ayurveda and diving deeply into the art of Blissapine, and practice Abhyanga, an ancient Ayurvedic self-massage technique using warm herbal oils. This is the perfect gateway to support a daily practice as Abhyanga can give a deep feeling of stability and inner radiance.
